Submissions

  1. Submission form must be completed by Friday 21st of March 23:59.
  2. Up to 3 works can be submitted including two-dimensional work such as drawings, paintings, collage, etching, photography and prints. You can submit 3D works, but there is limited space and the ability to keep work secure.
  3. All work must be for sale with a minimum price of £45 and a maximum price of £2500.
  4. All work must not exceed to size 100cm by 100cmn unframed.
  5. All work must be the artist's original own work and not a copy of someone else's.
  6. You can choose to be considered for the Arbeit High Streets Happening Residency Programme Prize which is a 12 week residency programme at Arbeit Gallery and Studio, N13 including a production fee, studio space and an exhibition. Please only include your proposal if you can start the residency on Monday 14th of April or close to this date.
  7. You can pay the submission fee up front but if you are not selected you will be refunded within 7 days after the selection has been made.

Selected artists

  1. Artists will be notified by Friday 4th April 23:59 by email if they have been selected.
  2. If successful, the application fee must be paid by Friday 4th April 23:59 here. Non payment by the deadline will void your submission.
  3. The exhibition organisers reserve the right to refuse artwork for any reason, for example if inappropriately presented or has the potential to cause offense.
  4. Work must be handed in Sunday 1st June 3-5pm/ Tuesday 3rd June 6-8pm to Arbeit Studios, Rear of, 310 Green Lanes, London N13 5TT without packaging as we cannot store it.
  5. All work must be the artist's original own work and not a copy of someone else's.
  6. All work must be suitably labeled- use a stick on label at the back of the work with title, medium, price, your name and phone number clearly written.
  7. All work needs to be handed in ready to hang.
  8. Unsold work must be collected Sunday 29th June 12-3pm. Please ask a family or friend to help if you cannot come on the day and ensure they have your receipt. We will charge a storage fee of £50 a day if you fail to collect your work.
  9. If your work sells, you will receive the price of the work, less 10% commission that covers charges and payment will be sent as soon as possible and within at least 2 weeks of the exhibition end. Buyers will be instructed to collect the work when the exhibition has ended.
  10. Please ensure your work is insured as _studioCELL and Arbeit Studios cannot be held responsible for break-in/fire or any unfortunate event that may cause loss or damage to your work.
  11. All artists must support the event as much as possible: Follow @enfield_community_art @_studioCELL @arbeitstudios and fellow artists. Share posts and stories. Forward the posters to your friends. You can also collect flyers to distribute in your own favourite cafes/shops/supermarkets.

Workshop submission

  1. There are paid opportunities (£100) for up to 7 artists to be considered to deliver workshops.
  2. This opportunity does not affect your exhibition entry.
  3. The workshop should be between 1.5 and 2 hours long and we will offer slots for you to choose from based on your availability over the exhibition dates 7-28th June.
  4. The workshop must be inclusive and in the spirit of the community.
  5. The title of your workshop should be loosely interpreted on the Enfield Community Art Exhibition theme HOME.
  6. Selected practitioners must be able to cater for at least 8 people and up to 15 people and should state whether all ages are welcome.
  7. The workshops will be advertised and the public can join for FREE via eventbrite.
  8. You will need to complete a risk assessment form if selected.
  9. There will be a steward present to sign in attendees and greet exhibition visitors.
  10. The gallery has a toilet upstairs, a kitchenette for tea/coffee and a sink downstairs. There are also chairs and tables. The space must be returned as it was, tidy and clean upon completion.
  11. Once you have delivered your workshop,we will pay you within 7 days of receiving your invoice.
