Let go of perfection and lose yourself in the flow of ink.

This workshop is an invitation to explore the shapes that are uniquely yours and let them emerge freely on the page. Through abstract mark-making and intuitive ink exploration, you'll move beyond the need to "get it right" and into a space of genuine creative play.

No experience needed. Just curiosity, openness and a willingness to be surprised by what you make. Come and find your form!

Event #1
Event #2

Participants can experiment with fabric painting using a paint/dye made from Turmeric. They could use supplied fabric, or cotton bags, or bring their own garment to work on.

Explore how watercolour can capture fleeting moments of light and colour in the landscapes around us. Using the wet-into-wet technique, participants will learn to let colour bloom and blend on the page, creating expressive, atmospheric landscapes without overworking the paint. No experience necessary.

Event #3
Event #4

Printing Linocuts without a press, with the opportunity to develop understanding about colour blends and "rainbow rolls". Members of the public can complete a small scale linocut and test tools as well as see examples of different printmaking techniques within relief printing.

Discover the freedom of abstract painting in this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop. No experience is needed—just a willingness to explore, experiment, and have fun with colour. Through a series of guided exercises, you’ll learn how to let go of perfection, play with different techniques, and express emotion through marks, layers, and movement. By the end of the session, you’ll have created your own abstract artwork—and hopefully discovered a new, freeing way to approach creativity

Event #5
Event #6

Exploring the use of charcoal and graphite to achieve realistic outcomes.
