Connection
Enfield Community Art 2026
Dugdale Arts Centre, 39 London Rd, London, Enfield EN2 6DS
30th May - 14th June
Enfield Community Art is a not-for-profit-event with the mission to support the creative community. The annual event showcases artwork selected from an open call by local hobbyists and professional artists and hosts a series of workshops that are inclusive and accessible. Additionally, the public can enjoy live painting and artist meets. We hope to bring people to see art and help artists be seen.
Connection
Our theme this year is "Connection". This can be interpreted by artists in a multitude of ways. Do you feel connected to your heritage? To nature? To your community? Have you sought ways to consider how materiality and expression have informed your art practice and connected others? Do you feel connected to yourself when applying paint to paper, weaving fabric or sculpting forms? We are looking for variety, creativity and imagination as well as expression, skill and artistic flair.
This year we are teaming up with the Museum of Enfield who have a 20,000 collection of artefacts and are excited to see if artists find connections and share this in their statement.
We are also curating a celebration day Devonshire Square, an outdoor cultural and community space located in the heart of Palmers Green, developed by Enfield Council. The event will include a pop up print exhibition of the artists work, live music, live painting and artist meets. This will also be in parallel to the physical exhibition. This provides artists with another way to be seen by the public.
We are accepting all mediums except AI generated work. There will be display cases for 3D work.
Selected artists will also have an artist spotlight on social media and visibility on our website.
Finally, there will be paid opportunities to deliver a workshop to the public which will help promote your work and practice.
